Krystle’s Brick Shop in Rolling Oaks Mall
The Texas LEGO® User Group - San Antonio (TexLUG-SA) held its third in-person Community Meeting (CM) of 2025 on 27 July 2025. 18 Group Members attended our in-person Community Meeting at Krystle’s Brick Shop in Rolling Oaks Mall. Topics discussed were the wrap up of the new ImagineNation Expo for Kids display at the New Braunfels Civic/Convention Center from June 2025, Brick Rodeo 2025 attendance by Members was great, spent some time introducing the LEGO® Rebuilding Communities (RLUG / RLOC) topic before it is discussed by Jordan Paxton, AFOL Engagement at Brick Fair VA 2025 with Ambassadors and other AFOLs in attendance early next month, AFOL designers attending public session at World Heritage Center event for the San Antonio Missions LEGO building contest consultation, potential displays at local libraries over the coming months and the future New Braunfels Railroad Museum hosted Fall Train Show on 25-26 October 2025. My favorite part of the Community Meeting is the sharing of the latest purchases, creations and builds as we go “Around the LUG” near the end of the Community Meeting.

Members gathered, again a tremendous number, enjoyed getting together and seeing everyone! We also welcomed 2 Members, reengaging with the Group in person and 1 new Member recruited from Brick Rodeo 2025 to the Group. After discussing the agenda stated above, gathering Members’ thoughts on topics discussed, reviewing and seeking volunteers for upcoming events, the Member presence shared their latest creations, and the new Members thanked everyone for welcoming them with open arms. They are looking forward to future events and Community Meetings. Members of the Group after the meeting ended then shopped together at Krystle’s looking through the tables containing LEGO® brick elements and other items on sale throughout the Shop.
