Online via Skype Video Application
The Texas LEGO® User Group - San Antonio (TexLUG-SA) held its first virtual Community Meeting (CM) of 2025 on 26 January 2025. 18 Group Members attended our virtual CM via Skype from their homes. Group attendance at the virtual session was awesome! Topics discussed were from the LAN: RLUG Annual Report submission complete, Thoughts on role of the RLUG Ambassador (one Member said, “I was doing an excellent job”), Thoughts on the Recognition and Review Process were discussed very briefly (Both links to these documents were sent to Members), briefly discussed dates for upcoming new year swap of displays at local LEGO® Reseller locations, Ambassador shared that The LEGO® Group will no longer be mailing Hard Copy of the LEGO® Catalog, however, the catalogs will have online versions (LEGO® has not let the public know about this decision) and Brickfest Live has moved its San Antonio show to September 2025. My favorite part of the virtual Community Meeting is the sharing of the latest creations and builds as we go “Around the LUG” near the end of the Community Meeting.

Members enjoyed getting together and seeing everyone, even though it is virtual, since not everyone can do all the events or activities to see each other in person. Members enjoyed sharing their latest builds from their collections, what has been happening in their lives and their personal LEGO® themed interests, as we went “Around the LUG!”
