The Texas LEGO® User Group - San Antonio (TexLUG-SA) held its twelfth virtual Community Meeting (CM) of 2024 on 29 December 2024. 17 Group Members attended our virtual CM via Skype from their homes. Attendance was awesome considering it is in the middle of the Holiday Season leave period for most school districts in the greater San Antonio area. Topics discussed were from the LAN: RLUG Annual Report discussion and distribution to complete before deadline at end of January 2025, wrapped up last event of 2024 with the Pop Up Winter Village at local lounge and restaurant, briefly discussed dates for upcoming new year swap of displays at local LEGO® Reseller locations. Our favorite part of the virtual Community Meeting is the sharing of the latest creations and builds as we go “Around the LUG” near the end of the Community Meeting.

Members enjoyed getting together and seeing everyone, even though it is virtual, since not everyone can make all the events or activities to see each other in person. This Community Meeting was special as it was after Christmas and several Members shared what they received or are building after receiving LEGO® sets for the Holiday. Members also enjoyed sharing their other latest builds from their collections, what has been happening in their lives and their personal LEGO® themed interests, as we went “Around the LUG!”
