Online via Skype Video Application
The Texas LEGO® User Group - San Antonio (TexLUG-SA) held its ninth virtual Community Meeting (CM) of 2024 on 29 September 2024. 17 Group Members and 2 new potential members attended our virtual CM via Skype from their homes. Attendance is still strong at our meetings online; however, Members are interested in getting back together in person and a potential CM might be held in the middle of November. Topics discussed were from the LAN: Printed or Online Instructions and future displays at our local LEGO® Resellers. Announced participation to create and display at the upcoming New Braunfels Railroad Museum hosted Fall Train Show in late October. Briefly discussed the invitation to attend Steve J’s hosted Holiday Party in early December 2024. Our favorite part of the virtual Community Meeting is the sharing of the latest creations and builds as we go “Around the LUG”, this time introducing each Member’s interest in themes and welcoming the 2 new Members near the end of the Community Meeting.

Members enjoyed sharing their latest creations and their personal LEGO® themed interests, as we went “Around the LUG!”. Members welcomed and enjoyed hearing from 2 potential new Members! Social Media did help one of the new Members find us and used the link we post monthly to join our monthly Community Meeting from Del Rio, Texas, 2 hours and 38 minutes West of San Antonio, Texas. Totally Awesome!
