Online via Skype Video Application
The Texas LEGO® User Group - San Antonio (TexLUG-SA) held its eighth virtual Community Meeting (CM) of 2024 on 18 August 2024. 22 Group Members joined for our virtual CM via Skype from locations around the greater San Antonio area. Attendance is really strong at our meetings online, however, Members are interested in getting back together in person, this method is being researched on the best place to resume. Topics discussed were from the LAN: future displays at our local LEGO® Resellers. Conveyed the dates for Brick Rodeo 2025 - 3-6 July 2024 in Sugar Land, Texas. Our TexLUG-SA Collaboration Project Support 2024 request was approved and was ordered on 17 August 2024. Draft Party and Parts/Set Swap gathering went well, all were happy with the results and the choice of set! Our favorite part of the virtual Community Meeting is the sharing of the latest creations and builds as we go “Around the LUG!”

In the “Around the LUG!”, Members enjoyed sharing their latest creations and their new sets acquired in LEGO® themed interests. Several Members shared they had a grand time during the Draft/Set Swap gathering and are looking forward to another one real soon.
