The Texas LEGO® User Group - San Antonio (TexLUG-SA) held its fifth virtual Community Meeting of 2024 on 26 May 2024. 8 Group Members participated virtually via Skype from their homes. Attendance was low due to the long weekend created by Memorial Day Holiday on Monday. Topics discussed were the tear down of the Asian Palace at Krystle’s Brick Shop and setup of the new Western themed display on 8 June; the tear down of the Pirates Invasion display at Bricks and Minifigs - Bulverde on 15 June with replacement coming from the Store Employees for next three months or so; short discussion of LEGO® Box Art and the addition of large stickers and print associated with coin batteries contained in the set; and discussed briefly the disinvitation from the Lone Star Division Train Collectors Association Spring Train Meet due to lack of space to display in the new venue they choose for this year’s show. Discussed the recent posts associated with the new rookie player from the San Antonio Spurs interest in purchasing the LEGO® Millennium Falcon set with some of his first paycheck from the NBA. Our favorite part of the virtual Community Meeting is the sharing of the latest creations and builds as we go “Around the LUG”, this time was relatively short due to lack of attendees.

This monthly virtual Community Meeting achieved one of our goals to keep in touch and discuss activities while staying connected through use of technology. During the “Around the LUG” portion, Members reminded everyone about their interests in LEGO® for the new member and showed off their LEGO® builds and creations.
