The Texas LEGO® User Group - San Antonio (TexLUG-SA) held its tenth virtual Community Meeting of 2022 on 27 November 2022. 14 Group Members participated virtually via Skype from their homes. Attendance virtually was steady this month. The Group discussed a variety of topics to include, initial discussion on support of initiative by SAMSAT that includes a LEGO® City, follow-up on the replacement of the current MOC displayed at Krystle’s Brick Shop with a Winter Themed window display, 19 November 2022, thoughts on VIP Weekend held earlier this month, Black Friday deals, a short poll was conducted and we agreed to hold our Holiday Party on 17 December 2022 plus TexLUG-Austin and TBRR announced that they were holding their annual Holiday Party on 11 December 2022. We briefly discussed in person meetings again, but the consensus is continuing with virtual meetings for now. Everyone enjoyed hearing about and seeing Members latest creations and catching up as 2022 wraps up and we look to the new year.

Our Virtual Community Meeting continues to fill the void of seeing each other personally and keeping the Group connected. Virtually allows Members to save gas, a very real thing now and save time by having a Community Meeting online and still accomplish subjects of interest to the Group. Members are encouraging each other to attend and actively participate at the virtual community meeting since we continue to put physical community meetings on hold, participation continues to be strong at virtual community meetings. Members continue to show the rest of the Group their LEGO® builds while working from home or checking into their workplace physically from time to time via these online Skype Virtual Community Meetings.
