Online via Skype Video Application
The Texas LEGO® User Group - San Antonio (TexLUG-SA) held its ninth virtual Community Meeting on 27 December 2020. 19 Group Members participated virtually via Skype from their homes. We talked about how the virus is making a resurgence in Texas and is still not under control enough to start having physical meetings, so we are going to continue to meet virtually. We confirmed that 6 TexLUG-SA Members joined the 37 Austin LUG. A few Members last session inquired about the name of Brick Fiesta to Brick Rodeo and those questions were answered by the new Brick Rodeo Board. Our potential first event for 2021 is scheduled for April 24-25. Discussion on this event centered on the risk and safety associated with the virus still running out of control in most of the State of Texas. We went around the Skype Session virtually and Members shared their Christmas gardens, gifts and general subjects associated with the love of the LEGO® brick within the Group. Everyone enjoyed hearing about each other’s Holiday creations and gifts. Our Group looks forward to sharing our love of the LEGO® brick element with the public, hopefully next year we can get back together in person without the fear of contracting the virus, thus far it is not looking promising with a new variant looming from the UK and Europe.

Our virtual Community Meeting is filling the void of seeing each other personally and attempting to keep the Group motivated during these trying times with COVID-19 cases on a resurgence with a vengeance throughout the entire State of Texas. Members are encouraged and still participate even though we are meeting virtually with no events to participate in this year, except early in January and February, however, talking about next year and maybe (???) a Train Show in April 2021 and showing the rest of the Group their builds while isolated or working at home.
