Summary

The Texas LEGO® User Group - San Antonio (TexLUG-SA) held its eighth virtual Community Meeting on 29 November 2020. 19 Group Members participated virtually via Skype from their homes. We talked about how the virus is making a resurgence in Texas and is still not under control enough to start having physical meetings, so we are going to continue to meet virtually. We went around the Skype Session virtually and Members shared their love of the LEGO® brick with the Group. Everyone had fun hearing about each other’s builds and collecting LEGO® in general, either online or at the Store at North Star Mall. We discussed next year, 2021 and planning for some type of Event during the first half of the year. Our Group looks forward to sharing our love of the LEGO® brick element with the public, hopefully next year we can get back together in person without the fear of contracting the virus!

What We Enjoyed Most

Our virtual meeting is attempting to keep the Group motivated during these trying times with COVID-19 cases on a resurgence with a vengeance again in San Antonio, Texas and the surrounding areas. Members are encouraged and still participate even though we are meeting virtually with no events to participate in this year, except early in January and February, however, talking about next year and maybe (???) a Train Show in April 2021 and showing the rest of the Group their builds while isolated or working at home.
