The Texas LEGO® User Group - San Antonio (TexLUG-SA) held its first virtual Community Meeting on 26 April 2020. Several Members participated from their homes. We covered past events that were postponed or cancelled due to the worldwide pandemic - Corona virus. We talked about some internal Group business related to shirts, a trailer and membership. A few Members shared their recent builds during their quarantine. The Group discussed future events that we know are regularly planned events and did decide to participate in the 2020 Maker Market to be held in Stockdale, Texas on 12 September 2020 from 0900 - 1600. Other events are still undecided due to the pandemic. Members are hopeful we can meet in person in the coming months, however, in the meantime will continue with virtual meetings once a month vice our regularly scheduled twice a month in person meetings. I did let the Group know that I have been staying in touch with TLG through LAN Check In Calls. I believe the calls let Ambassadors get to know others and a reminder of the AFOLET activities during the stay at home period. Thanks for hosting and offering these sessions! Our Group looks forward to continuing to plan events for later this year and getting back together in person.
