All Access 407 Companion 339 Public ~2500 There was much to enjoy about this activity. We had AFOLs from all over Texas (and one who now lives in Oklahoma) working together virtually to create the largest Wild West display ever seen at Brick Rodeo or any other ANE. We had a great time helping each other make MOCs better during the planning phase through new ideas, positive feedback, and ideas of complementary MOCs. During the setup, it was great to see all the hard work and planning come together. While there were a few minor hiccups, the group managed to put together a collaboration that looked seamless despite having many builders use their own styles and techniques in their individual MOCs. It was so much fun interacting with other AFOL and the public as we described our individual contributions, shared a fun seek-and-find activity, and described the project. People marveled at the large herd of buffalo, the Native American canoes paddling down the river, the large ravine with a trestle bridge, the town, the bucking broncos, and the working windmills. The display was peppered with Easter eggs like Marty McFly, Tonto, the Serenity from Firefly, many Star Wars references, and various minifigures hiding on the display. The public enjoyed searching for the display to find them as part of our Seek and Find. Finally, we capped it off with the team being interviewed by the brothers from Beyond the Brick - a first for many of our team members.
