10 Members of our Group participated in the New Braunfels Museum hosted Jamboree Spring Train Show across two Show days and one setup day on Friday. We had lots of our folks engaged with Show participants. Attendance was steady for Spring Train Show and folks showed up to see the trains and buy some train stuff. The folks asked lots of LEGO® based questions plus made comments on some of our more unique LEGO® creations on display. A LEGO® Western (circa 1997) themed display was present on the end table made up of 4 baseplates by 4 baseplates. During the show days, visitors were asked to find the “easter egg” LEGO® minifigures that did not belong on the themed display. Parents and kids were excited to find the hidden treasures! Our favorite miniature Statue of Lady Liberty returned to her space on another end table accompanied by several LEGO® Food Trucks and other LEGO® City themed vehicles providing security for the grounds surrounding her. We had several attendees comment about the miniature Red, White and Blue Statue of Liberty, and asked where the grand Lady Liberty was that was displayed in October 2024. Sadly, she was dismantled, and the LEGO® bricks potentially will be used in other Members creations in the future. The display contained several LEGO® Modular Buildings, MOC Modulars Style Buildings and several other LEGO® themed MOCs. And last but not least, are the LEGO® Trains that run all around our LEGO® City display located on multiple tables within the entire exhibit area of 20 feet x 20 feet. Thanks to all that contributed their LEGO® Brick MOCs, Sets, Trains and Vehicles that made the display possible for the weekend! Setup for the Event is on Friday afternoon for roughly 5 hours, and the Event runs 2 days, 7 hours on Saturday and 6 hours on Sunday.
