What did your community enjoy the most about this event? Despite the low number of public visitors to view the LEGO® Pop Up Event Winter Village display, Members enjoyed interacting with those that did stop by while dining in the Lounge that afternoon and into the evening. The 3 Members enjoyed arranging the buildings, inside the oval shaped track that was running the LEGO® Holiday Train. The Somebody Else’s Creation (SEC) Ski Slope worked most of the time while a young fan watched the skiers go up the lift and then ski down. Several Lounge patrons gave thumbs up to the display during the afternoon. Mission accomplished to further promote the LEGO® Brand through displays and interaction with the public. Thanks to all that contributed their LEGO® Winter Village Sets, Train and Ski Slope and Butterfly MOCs to the display. Our Member that started building the LEGO® Santa’s Visit set on site for patrons, made it halfway through the build, before poor indoor lighting made it difficult to see the remaining instructions to finish the build. What a trooper!
