10 Members of our Group participated in the New Braunfels Museum hosted Fall Train Show across two Show days and one setup day on Friday. We had lots of our folks engaged with Show participants. Attendance was steady for the Fall Train Show and folks showed up to see the trains and buy some train stuff. The folks asked lots of LEGO® based questions plus made comments on some of our more unique LEGO® creations on display. A new addition to this year’s train show was the TexLUG-SA 2023 Project Support display, Lady Liberty in sand green with Authentic Pedestal. Her display contains over 78,000 LEGO® bricks and she stands 8.5 feet tall and weighs 240 pounds combined (pedestal 150lbs and Lady Liberty 90lbs). Several attendees commented about the Statue of Liberty, as well as several vendors who were very impressed as it was being moved through the hall and on its way to setup. And of course the ladies that worked the Food Court were complimentary on its presence in the room as they fed the masses. A LEGO® Animal Crossing themed display. A LEGO® Space themed display with train hauling space components. The display contained several LEGO® Modular Buildings, MOC Modulars Style Buildings and several other LEGO® themed MOCs. And last but not least, are the LEGO® Trains that run all around our LEGO® City display located on multiple tables within the entire exhibit area of 218 feet x 18 feet. Thanks to all that contributed their LEGO® Brick MOCs, Sets, Trains and Vehicles that made the display possible for the weekend! Setup for the Event is on Friday afternoon for roughly 5 hours and the Event runs 2 days, 7 hours on Saturday and 6 hours on Sunday.
